I've only been at my current job for 5 months but I would say it freaks me out, on average, once a week. I rarely feel like crying about it but I do cuss about it. Work is hard, especially when you're working with people, and extra-especially when you're working with people who are in need. It's very emotional to deal with that aspect of humanity.

I have, in fact, told my boss that it was by sheer force of will alone that I did not kick in the teeth of a coworker.
Working sucks. That's why they have to pay you to do it. One only hopes that you spend less time crying/bludgening/hexing than not.
